Cape Coral and Area

Cape Coral

Cape Coral is the venice from Florida. With more than 1000 miles canals is it a water and boater wonderland of course many with gulf access. Cape Coral has also a small idyllic beach with a Fishing Pier, which extends 200 meter into the river. There you can go fishing and experience breathtaking sunsets. To get there, drive direction south from the Coronado Pkwy and follow to road until the end.

Fort Myers Beach

Fort Myers Beach is located on Estero Island, circa 20 minutes by car from Fort Myers. Drive over the Toll bridge and then turn right. Keep going straight on the McGregor Blvd and from there follow the signs. The white and soft sandy beach provides the best conditions for every kind of water sports e.g. sail boarding, parasailing, sailing, go on a boat ride, to Jet Ski, fishing or swimming of course.

Sanibel Island / Captiva Island

A long bridge is leading you from Fort Meyers over the blue shining San Carlos Bay to Sanibel Island. This island is one of the most beautiful and relaxing island on the west coast together with Captiva island, which is more northern. Because of the nature protection laws, the long sandy beaches, which are rich of mussels, maintained. Not only nature and bird lovers will treasure Sanibel and Captiva Island, also sand castle architects will love it.

Surrounding

The Lee Island Coast is a irresistible mixture of the sandy beach – famous for the mussels – and exotic animals, opulent vegetation and beautiful sunsets. Really popular are Cape Coral, Fort Meyers Beaches, Sanibel and Captiva Island. They have elegant holiday locations, harbors and golf courses. More quiet island are accessible by boat. In a lot of areas boats are for rent and boat trips organized, but there are also public boats regularly.
